We are a group of Christ followers who came together in September of 2005 to start a new church in NW Tampa. Close to 600 people joined us for that first service. Many were friends and well-wishers from the community and other churches, but approximately half returned the following weekend and each weekend thereafter. Like us, they caught a vision for a casual, contemporary church where God is honored and people are valued.
Not surprisingly, everyone began bringing their friends. It is not unusual for us to have 25-50 first-time guests on any given weekend. If you’re thinking about visiting us this weekend, you won’t be alone. You won’t stand out from the crowd because many of the people who come are relatively new themselves. Our goal is to make you feel welcome. We’ve done everything we can to take the uncertainty out of visiting a new church.
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30am and 11am. During the services, you’ll experience today’s music, multimedia on the edge, and relevant teaching- all packed into a one-hour service.
Of course, our weekend services are only the starting place for finding a home at Church at the Bay, but it is a great place to begin. Please join us this weekend!
